Dr. Andreas Grondoudis

Dr. Andreas Grondoudis is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Andreas has a Ph.D in Computer Science and a M.Sc. of Engineering in Telematics (both from University of Sheffield) and a B.Sc. in Computer Systems Engineering (University of East Anglia). Andreas’s research focused on a typical methodology called X-Machines and their use for the specification and testing of communication protocols for computer networks. His interests include: software development, computer networks and security; database management systems. Before coming to Cyprus Andreas worked in the industry as a senior programmer (at Quad Computer Services in Sheffield, UK). Since joining European University Cyprus, he has been heavily involved in teaching programming courses but has also gained administrative experience by being the chairperson of his department twice. Andreas has participated as a 'researcher’ in EU-funded projects including Creative Europe, Erasmus+ as well as national (RPF-funded) projects.
